It's a short hike from one wing tip to the other and you can hop over the wing in the other direction... on the ground it has almost the span of a standard class sailplane. It's light and just floats above your head in 5km/h of wind; looking from one tip to the other requires some neck flexibility! :)
Launching seems pretty straight forward, the tips don't lead at all; haven't forwarded it yet. If you put the glider down funny pulling it back up in light wind takes a bit of playing... the tips tend to curl up and hang collapsed until the glider is mostly up. The neutral trim is fast. I buried the brakes to slope land trying to get it to stall just above the ground but the glider wouldn't let go and instead I just landed softly; I guess I was expecting less brake to stall it since the chord is so short.
The handling is nice and the glider slides into turns smoothly without much diving.
I can tell from playing around at the top of Cochrane Hill that the performance is much better than my UP Targa2. There's a constant feeling that I'm lifting off sooner than expected and floating or clearing the lip of the hill when I thought I'd have to put my feet down.
This weekend I'll take her high and let her stretch!

Flew from 5pm until after sunset on Saturday in light ridge with thermals. Even kiting this wing is fun 'cause it's so radical looking, so dynamic and so different to what I've flown before.
